While the british police interviewed a suspect for manslaughter in the framework of the investigation on the disappearance of Emiliano Sala, the Times confirms that it is indeed David Henderson, the pilot who was originally scheduled to operate the flight Nantes-Cardiff in which was lost argentine forward.
The british police has arrested a 64 year-old man, Wednesday, in the framework of the investigation into the accident that claimed the lives of two people at the end of January, with Emiliano Sala. Suspected of manslaughter, interviewed Wednesday by the police of the county of Dorset before being released, the man in question is not a stranger. The Times confirmed Thursday that he is David Henderson, a driver, a native of Yorkshire, which was initially intended to ensure the connection from Nantes to Cardiff for the argentine forward, before entrusting this mission to David Ibbotson, the other victim of this theft is tragic.

While the office of investigation of british aviation accident (AAIB) must always make his report to establish the causes of the disaster (you will probably have to wait until the end of the year, or even longer), the role of Henderson is the part that is blurred in this case. We know, through the family McKay, who is engaged in the transfer of Sala, that it is this very experienced pilot which was to ensure that the round-trip between Wales and France for that argentine forward to take care of some personal business and to greet for the last time his ex-teammates at the Universita. For a reason unknown, Henderson has delegated this task to Ibbotson, a driver which, as we will learn over the weeks, was not allowed to perform commercial flight, and suffered from color blindness, which prevents him from flying at night. There was a time believed that Henderson was the same at the airport of Nantes, just before the departure of the flight, fatal, information reversed since.
Until now, Henderson, despite numerous requests of the media, be it press French or English, has always refused to deliver his version of the facts, walled up in the silence. The british police has therefore decided to question him. It is suspected by investigators of having committed “an illegal act” in relation to the accident.
