Bitton : “It is annoying that the PSG goes into the match against Rennes without Marco Verratti”
PSG faced Rennes on Saturday (21h), in the final of the Coupe de France. A game that should be missed Marco Verratti, hit in the left ankle against Monaco this weekend (3-1). Bad news for PSG as explained Stéphane Bitton in his column on France Bleu Paris.
“Once again Marco Verratti leaves his cronies at the wrong time. He had already had a left ankle sprain on the 19th of January last, and he had missed three weeks of competition. It was released prematurely against Monaco after a new left ankle sprain. It is uncertain for the final of the Coupe de France against Rennes. It is an important player of very important, that is the cornerstone of the game paris. It is the link between defence and attack. It is the one who directs the game, and frankly in the face of Rennes, it may be lacking. Often, a game is won or lost in midfield so it’s annoying that the PSG approach this game without Marco Verratti.”
